A production building with a colourful entrance

The headquarters of Fischer basically consists of two almost identical buildings. The offices are located in the three-storey part of the building facing the street side, and behind them are the production and assembly areas with the corresponding parts in a slightly lower, two-storey part of the building. Between both buildings, you can find the company canteen with a spacious terrace and a green area.  

For the front building, three different colours and designs of Rockpanel cladding are used. The basis is formed by around 2,200 m² of Rockpanel Woods Rhinestone Oak. These timber effect facade panels give the building a warm and calm appearance and also stand for the commitment the company has to sustainability and the safe use of renewable energies. 

Smart use of colours 

At the front side of the building, the wood look facade panels are accompanied by a splash of colour. The respective entrances are located at the two corners facing the building space. They are accentuated by a one storey high expansion of the building and by a smart use of colours: a combination of orange entrance doors and Rockpanel Colours facade boards in traffic blue (RAL 5017). By using the colours of the company’s logo, the entrances become part of a coherent corporate identity. Moreover, a high recognition value is created.  

For another part of the front building, Rockpanel Colours facade boards in anthracite grey (RAL 7016) were used. All of the Rockpanel boards were fixed with rivets onto an aluminium sub-construction. 

A futureproof building 

As the Rockpanel facade boards are fire resilient by nature – the boards are made from stone wool, which can withstand extremely high temperatures – the facades meet high fire protection requirements. Thanks to the high colour fastness and durability of Rockpanel, the building and its colourful entrance will remain beautiful for many years to come.
